Wood I-Joist, LVL
I-joists have structural
wood top and bottom flanges and OSB or plywood
webs. A commercial series is available for use in
floor and roof systems. Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL)
can be used as beams, headers, joists, and rims in commercial
applications.I-joists are typically
used in secondary framing members in floor and roof
systems. They make efficient use of raw materials
and allow a greater versatility in building design.
